Stackie

Built from nothing.
Designed to hold everything.

The Bet

Most second-brain tools are designed for filing. I wanted to design for intention — the AI asks what you're trying to build, then organizes everything around that. The bet was: if the structure feels alive, people come back.

The Work

Two design decisions shaped this product along the way.

From intention to interface

Nobody opens a blank note app and feels inspired. I designed the onboarding around a single question: what are you building right now? Everything after that — your stacks, your widgets, your streaks — is organized around your answer. The product orients itself to you, not the other way around.

Widgets that tell the story

Data shouldn't live in lists. I designed a widget system that turns your inputs — streaks, counters, mood logs — into visual snapshots of your life. The goal was to make your progress feel like something you'd want to look at, not audit.
